Wayne Christian is attacking me and almost every small business owner, employer and entrepreneur in the state of Texas. It’s desperation from a failed politician with a record of promoting policies that are bad for Texas.
By way of context, Christian and his supporters have already been called out by independent fact checkers for spreading lies about my company “accepting Obama stimulus dollars”. First they said my company “accepted” stimulus dollars, now they’re saying I applied for them. It’s a lie and Wayne Christian knows it.
The “Obama stimulus dollars” Wayne Christian says my company applied for was Small Business Administration (SBA) financing that our company didn’t accept. But since the SBA was created in 1953, millions of Texans have used their products to build businesses and grow our economy. Wayne Christian’s message to the millions of Texans who have explored different jobs programs designed to help small businesses grow is that you applied for or took Obama Stimulus.
In Wayne’s world, everyone with a bank account has “accepted Obama stimulus dollars” because the FDIC guarantees the majority of the deposits.
Wayne Christian has zero experience in the oil and gas industry so he’s manufacturing lies about me that disparage millions of Texans. He owes every job creator in the state that’s taken or applied for an SBA loan an apology.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Christian’s lack of experience in the energy industry is being questioned by voters. Our polls show that my positive message about Texas leading America to energy independence is moving voters. Christian will say or do just about anything to distract from the fact that he has no oil and gas experience and actually pushed for green energy mandates that would have cost consumers and job creators millions in higher rates.
